Alice Siu

Alice Siu is Senior Research Scholar & Associate Director, Deliberative Democracy Lab at Stanford University. Dr. Siu earned her Ph.D. in Communication from Stanford University, specializing in political communication and deliberative democracy. She also holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Public Policy and an M.A. in Political Science from Stanford. Her research examines deliberative processes, socio-economic dynamics in group discussions, and argument quality. She has advised policymakers and political leaders globally, including in China, Brazil, and Argentina.
